Brittany Sidwell Photography
Hey, I’m Brittany Sidwell, a Knoxville-based wedding photographer for couples who want their wedding day to feel real, joyful, a little wild, and unapologetically theirs.
I specialize in Smoky Mountain weddings, elopements, and intimate celebrations that trade stiff traditions for genuine connection. Think mountaintop vows at Foothills Parkway, golden-hour portraits in Cades Cove, foggy trailhead first looks, backyard parties, and laid-back wedding days that move at your pace. From small ceremonies tucked into the Great Smoky Mountains National Park to non-traditional weddings filled with movement, laughter, and chaos: I’m here for all of it.
My photography approach is relaxed, intentional, and people-first.
No forced poses. No fake smiles. I create space for what’s actually happening: the joy, the nerves, the quiet moments, the messy in-between, and document it honestly so your photos feel like memories, not performances.
I grew up in a tiny farm town in Ohio, but Knoxville and the Smoky Mountains are home now. I’m raising my son Wyatt and wrangling our two cats, Sprinkles and Bandit (yes, like The Office). Life here is loud, imperfect, and full of heart, and that’s exactly how I want your photos to feel, too.
If you’re dreaming of a wedding day that feels grounded, adventurous, and deeply personal, whether that’s an elopement in Cades Cove, portraits along Foothills Parkway, or vows tucked somewhere quiet inside the Smokies, I’d love to tell your story.
