Erin Morrison Photography

Hi! I’m Erin Morrison! I’m a Smoky Mountain photographer, podcast host, and self-proclaimed walking contradiction. Born and raised in Illinois, I packed up my Midwestern roots and moved to the great southern state of Tennessee over a decade ago. These days, I call Knoxville home with my husband, our little girl, and a camera that’s practically glued to my hand.
Though I’m Type A with a creative streak, a Yankee who says “fixin’,” and a comedy fan who couldn’t deliver a punchline to save her life, photography has been the one thing that’s always made sense. After falling head over heels for my own wedding photographers, I dove headfirst into the world of storytelling through images.
Since then, I’ve photographed over 500 weddings and elopements, earned recognition as one of Knoxville’s Best Wedding Photographers, and launched Aisle Be Honest, a podcast where I share the real, unfiltered side of weddings for couples planning their wedding.
I’ve been a Smoky Mountain Photographer for over eight years, capturing everything from weddings and elopements to engagements and family sessions. While I love shooting in any outdoor space, nothing compares to the magic of the Smokies. My favorite spots in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park include the Historic Elkmont District, the Townsend Wye, and Cades Cove.
Whether you’re planning a mountaintop “I do” or just need some straight talk and solid advice, swing by my shop or tune in to the podcast. I’ve got plenty of tips to help guide you on your journey—camera in hand or not.
